Rouging - Phase 2
During Phase 1, and an extension of that phase, we were in a learning mode. Finally, we have collected results that suggest that we can detect the conditions under which rouging occurs. In Phase 2, we hope accomplish three objectives:
1) To develop a better understanding of the electrochemical parameters that exist in a system where Rouge has been documented to have formed.
2) Explore purging with oxygen to alter the conditions and stop rouge formation. This could be a possible mitigation strategy for an operating plant if it works.
3) Duplication of the same results from Phase 1
